I tried so many new makeup products in 2022. Through PR and purchasing independently, my makeup collection has at least doubled in the last year.

I’m really excited to try out new products next year, but I thought it would be fun to share my favorite makeup products of 2022.

Best Makeup Products of 2022

Foundation

These two foundations have been my favorite and most used foundations of 2022. I’ve worn them to various different occasions and been happy with my makeup.

I’ve been using the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation for a couple of years now. I started with the shade 420 and now I wear the shade 430. This is a really good everyday foundation.

I just started using the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 2022 after hearing so much about in the online beauty community. I saw so many women swear by this foundation so i was super excited to try it. I wear this foundation in the shade 430 and I have loved wearing this foundation especially for special occassions. The foundation is really pretty and luminous and works with me even though I have oily skin.

Concealer

This year, I really got more into the bright under the eye concealer trend and it’s been such a beautiful addition to my makeup routine.

I’ve been using the Mac Studio Fix 24 Hour Smooth Wear Concealer for a couple of years and it’s such a pretty concealer. I love the formula and how easy it is to blend out. I like to primarily use this concealer when I’m going for more of a soft glam makeup look.

I love using the E.L.F. Hydrating Camo Concealer Satin Finish in the shade Deep Cinnamon. It’s a really good everyday concealer and it has a good shade range. If you have more oily skin and would prefer a matte finish the E.L.F. 16hr Camo Concealer is a good choice.

The E.L.F. Flawless Brightening Concealer has been such a fun addition to my makeup routine. I love to use this concealer when I want to brighten up my concealer a bit. It’s really creamy and easy to blend out. I highly recommend it.

Eyebrows

The NYX Brow Glue Clear Laminating Gel has been such a game changer for me in my eyebrow routine. I love using this brow glue because it keeps all of my eyebrow hairs in place and actually dries down. I love to use this as my last step in my eyebrow routine.

I have been using the ABH Dip Brow Pomade in the shade Ebony for so many years and it’s still my favorite eyebrow pomade.

Mascara

The Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara is such a good affordable mascara. I posted a video on TikTok about it that went semi-viral and since then I’ve been wearing this mascara continously.

I love the way this mascara gives me so much volume and length!

Blush

I saw so many videos of girls trying the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and I had to try it! Rare beauty had a sale and I picked up the shade Joy. It is such a good liquid blush. I highly recommend it and I’m planning on trying out more shades in the New Year!

Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics sent me their Rouge Romance Blush Palette and I love it so much! It is such a good blush palette. I’ve tried a lot of blush palettes and most of the shades don’t actually show up on my skin tone, but all of the shades show up on my skin.

Bronzer

Thread Beauty’s Complexion Sticks can be used for foundation, concealer, and contour. I personally love to use the shade 180 and 190 as a bronzer.

I was never into bronzer, but I love the way this complexion stick looks on me and how easy it is to blend it out.

Lips

I tried so many lip products this year, but these lipliners are the lip products I use in all of my lip combos. Lip liners are my hack to making every lip color work for me, so they’re a staple in my makeup routine.

I’ve been using the NYX Slim Lip Pencil Creamy Long-Lasting Lip Liner in the shade Espresso for so many years. It’s affordable, easily accessible, and it looks so good.

I remember hearing so much about the MAC Lip Pencil in Chestnut and I finally tried it out this year. All of the hype is true, I love the way this lip pencil glides on my lips. I highly recommend it.
