This is literally the best way to learn how to do your makeup. You have to practice and experiment! When I first learned how to do makeup I would spend hours doing my makeup at night just to practice and over time I got better and better and I learned from my mistakes ☺️

If you have acne prone skin buy makeup that is non comedogenic. Especially foundation & concealers that are non comedogenic. Before you buy products search to make sure they are and that will definitely reduce your likelihood of breaking out from a makeup product.

Okay but no really 😭😭 high end foundations are soooo good. Here’s why I love high end foundations:

1. I love being able to try my shade in store to make sure I’m getting the perfect match

2. They look so good with minimal effort

3. The shade & undertone range is sooo good! I’m looking at you @esteelauder double wear foundation 😉

No but seriously 😂😂 idk traditional therapy genuinely has not been working for me so I guess makeup & psych meds are going to have to do 😂 here’s been my struggle with traditional therapy:

1. At some point the therapist says or does something that breaks the fourth wall and I realize I’m talking to a stranger about my most traumatic things. And I just can’t unsee it 😭

2. I can’t keep up with appointments. Like my ADHD be beating me up. Either I stay up all night to be at my appointment or I completely forget it exists💀

3. Talking about my trauma has not made it better 😭

Idk I’m not saying I don’t believe in it. I am saying it’s not working for me at this point in my life.

For the people in the comments: this is in response to videos of women talking about how they only wear concealer as a way to distance themselves from other women who do wear foundation and full faces of makeup. If that is not you, this video is not aimed at you. If you do use concealer and talk about using it as a way to put down other women or distance yourself from other women, then this video isn’t about you.

It is to address how illogical it is to distance yourself from women wearing full faces of makeup while using concealer for a full face of makeup. It’s to address the misogyny within that.

It is also an opportunity to learn about why using a full face of concealer will not hide/address issues you may be having with foundation. And to address common misconceptions about foundation and offer tips to help.
