Merit Beauty is a clean makeup brand that focuses on minimalist makeup routines. I have had the opportunity to work with Merit Beauty on a couple of beauty campaigns and here is my merit beauty review of the products I have tried.

the Minimalist

I am not the biggest fan of complexion sticks because they’re usually a lot harder to blend than liquid and powder foundations, but the Minimalist isn’t like other complexion sticks I’ve tried. The Minimalist is very easy to blend out and I like the satin finish that it has.

As a girl with oily skin, I definitely have to set it with powder, but I really love how natural it is. I would highly recommend the Minimalist for everyday wear and/or for people who prefer a more natural and minimalist makeup look

Brush No.1

This brush is quite literally one of my favorite makeup brushes. It’s one of the only brushes that I trust to blend out my foundation, concealer, and blush during the same makeup application. I usually like to use multiple brushes when applying my makeup, but Brush No.1 cuts out al of the other brushes and makes for a really easy way to apply all of my makeup.

If you’re looking for a way to simplify and shorten your makeup routine, I would highly recommend Brush No.1

Signature lip

Is this a cute lipstick with good shade options and cute packaging? Yes, it is. Is it a revolutionary new lipstick formula or shade range? No, it’s not.

It’s a good lipstick. An old reliable that you can throw in your purse and retouch in the bathroom without any worries of it clumping or looking terrible after reapplying. But, there are tons of lipsticks with similar finishes and shades.

I’m not not recommending the Signature Lip, but I’m also not telling you that you absolutely must buy it now.

Flush balm

The Flush Balm is perfect for people who want an easy blush to swipe on their cheeks, quickly blend it out, and rush out of the door.

The Flush Balm is not for people who have a million blushes that they already love in their collection.

It’s a very subtle and natural blush, definitely not for the people who a love a ton of blush on their face. Also, the shade range is quite poor for people who have dark skin. Only one of the blushes actually show up on my skin tone (shade mood).

Clean lash

use Clean Lash for one purpose and one purpose only, my bottom lashes. The wand on this mascara is absolutely perfect for my bottom lashes.

Shade slick

Shade Slick is my #1 favorite product from Merit Beauty. If there are any products on this list that I think everyone should run and purchase, it’s this one.

I specifically love Shade Slick in the color Falcon. It’s this beautiful brown lip color but because it’s a lip oil it appears really sheer until you build it up.

Shade Slick is hydrating and feels wonderful on the lips. I highly recommend it.

day glow

Day Glow is my least favorite product out of all of the Merit products I have tried.

It barely showed up on my skin and it didn’t do much for me. For $30 I don’t think that it’s worth it.
