MAC Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation

The MAC Pro Longwear Foundation was one of the first foundations that actually worked for me. I remember going in and getting color matched and wearing this foundation almost every day.

I love that this foundation is buildable and that it’s medium coverage and I can wear it for everyday occasions and I can build up the coverage for special occasions.

Since I have sensitive and oily skin, it’s really important to me that I choose products that don’t break my skin out and this foundation works really well with my skin type. I find that I don’t look overly oil when wearing it and that it doesn’t break me out.

Usually I wear this foundation with the MAC Fix+ Spray and the MAC Prep and Prime Skin Base underneath.

I would highly recommend going in store and getting color matched to make sure that you have a shade that matches your skin tone and undertone.

Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear liquid Foundation

It doesn’t make sense how many times I’ve ranted and raved about this foundation on the internet. The Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Foundation is one of my favorite foundations in the entire world.

This foundation was one of the first foundation lines to have such a large shade range and was actually inclusive. There’s so many shades and undertones to choose from and it was very rare to see at the time that it was created.

It’s really important to me to acknowledge the importance of this foundation line because it set a standard within the beauty industry that forced a lot of other brands to come out with more inclusive lines.

Another reason that I love this foundation is because of the finish, it has such a beautiful soft matte finish and it blends in extremely easy and works well with a lot of other products.

I think that this would be a great foundation for beginners to start with.

Giorgio Armani Luminous silk foundation

The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is the newest foundation on this list but it has quickly become one of my favorite foundations.

I wanted to try this foundation for such a long time, but I was always really scared of the $69 price tag, but I can 100% say that this foundation is worth it and I will repurchase it every time.

If you break down how often you wear this foundation, it actually is worth the price. Even though I have oily skin, the luminous finish looks really beautiful without making me extremely oily.

I primarily wear this foundation for special occassions and I love how full coverage this foundation is!
