I know you might be skeptical, but trust me when I say silver eyeshadow is gorgeous. Silver eyeshadow was definitely not on my list of eyeshadow that I had a strong desire to try.

I was afraid that it would make my skin look washed out and I couldn’t be more wrong. Silver eyeshadow sparkles in such a beautiful way, it’s one of the best eyeshadow colors to wear for special events.

Which silver eyeshadow is best for me?

The type of silver eyeshadow that is the best for you will depend on a few factors.

Which shade of silver you like best? Do you prefer a lighter silver or a darker silver.

What kind of eyeshadow are you drawn to? Do you prefer a glitter eyeshadow or a satin eyeshadow with sheen?

One of the biggest factors is going to be based on your preference for eyeshadow types. You can choose from a pressed eyeshadow (either single or in a palette), a cream stick eyeshadow, or a liquid eyeshadow. All of these apply differently and range in how easy they are to apply and blend.

If you’re a complete beginner, I’d recommend trying out a liquid eyeshadow. You can put it directly on your eyes and blend it out with your fingers. Start off with a small amount and add more as you go. I recommend liquid eyeshadow for beginners because liquid eyeshadows are very opaque, typically very easy to blend out, and they don’t require you to have a wide understanding of how to apply eyeshadow to make it look good. To be frank, you can kind of slap it on and go!

Silver eyeshadow is such a versatile eyeshadow color because it goes well with every color.
