My 2023 Makeup Wishlist
There are so many makeup products I want to try this year. This post is all about my 2023 makeup wishlist.

It’s so easy to get into the same makeup routine. While I am a big advocate of having your staple products, I also think it’s important to have fun with makeup and try out new products.
I used to get sucked into buying every single product I wanted on a whim and I ended up with a million products that I barely used. After that, I got really serious about having a limited makeup collection and never bought new products. Both of those places were really stifling for me.
In this era of my life, I really want to prioritize having a better balance with makeup. I want to try out new products, but I also don’t want to get stuck with a ton of products I don’t like. So, I won’t be buying random products on a whim anymore, but I will pick up new products from my makeup wishlist.
Since I am a beauty influencer, I probably have a lot more products on my makeup wishlist than the average person! So, don’t get discouraged if my makeup wishlist is longer than yours!

Foundation
These are the foundations that are on my list to try this year:
I’m really excited to try out this foundation because I’ve never tried any face products from DIOR but I’ve heard a lot of really good things about this foundation. It’s supposed to be water-proof and sweat resistant, so it could be a really good vacation/summer foundation.
I have only tried the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and it’s become my favorite blush. I’m definitely excited to try out more Rare Beauty products. I really want to try out this tinted moisturizer because I’ve never had a tinted moisturizer and I’m hoping it’ll be a great way to wear makeup, on my more natural days.
Literally every one on Earth has tried this foundation and I am the very last person to try it. The main reason I want to try this foundation is FOMO (fear of missing out) and I’ll take no further questions!
NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation
This is definitely the riskiest choice on the foundation list. I tried the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and it was essentially an epic fail. I don’t hate the concealer, but I don’t like it at very much. So, this is a huge risk for me. The main reason I want to try this foundation is because I’ve heard so many good things about the NARS Foundation and I love the idea of it being soft matte. It’s also supposed to be really good for oily skin and acne prone skin.
Concealer
These are the concealers on my list:
As an oily girl I’m a little bit nervous about trying this concealer, but I’ve seen so many creators that I really like talk about this concealer and I wanna try it out. I also think it’s really cool that it’s such a large concealer.
I am literally OBSESSED with the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation so it’s only right that I try out the concealer. I honestly think this is probably going to be a really good concealer and it’ll be a really good buy this year.
This is another concealer I want to try because I fell in love with their foundation! The Double Wear Foundation worked so well for me, that I’d love to get this concealer in my shade and in a lighter shade.
Blush
These are the blushes I want to try out this year:
I have already fell in love with this blush, but it’s time for me to try out more shades. The only reason I haven’t done it yet is because every time I go into Sephora all of the shades I want to try are sold out! So, I’m definitely going to prioritize purchasing these blushes this year. I really want to try the shades Lucky, Grateful, and Faith.
I really want to try out more Black owned beauty brands this year and the Mented Cosmetics blushes look so cute. Definitely going to try it out this year!
Bronzer
I am not a huge bronzer girl, so I don’t know how many of these I’ll actually purchase this year, but I definitely want to try at least one of these. These are the bronzers on my list:
Definitely interested in trying out this bronzer because of how red it looks. I feel like it’s definitely going to give sun kissed and it’s Black owned!
- Merit Bronze Balm
I’ve worked with Merit a couple of times and I generally like most of their products. I did a review of their products here: Merit Beauty Review. I feel like this product could be really good, but I’m a little worried that it’s going to be too sheer.
This is definitely the bronzer that I’m most likely to pick up. I’ve been really into cream products lately and I’m a huge fan of Fenty Beauty.
