The lip color that you choose to wear can really change the way that your makeup looks. I love to play around with different lip combinations to spruce up my makeup routines.
This blog post lists 5 of the staple lip products that make such a huge statement on your lips. Each of these different type of lip makeup styles are easy to recreate.
After reading this post you’ll know about all of the staple statement lips that you should try at least once in your life!
The red lip is one of the most statement lips that you could ever do. Red lips are known to be bold and sexy.
The undertone of the red lip that you choose can change the way that it appears on your skin. Typically red lipsticks with blue undertones universally look good on most people. Red lipsticks with more orange and warm tones can be more difficult to pull off.
I personally prefer to only wear red lipsticks that are matte or liquid lipsticks because they stay in place and they look the best. I try to steer away from red lip glosses because they’re a lot harder to pull off.
Nude lips are my favorite every day lipstick. I love to wear nude lipstick with gloss and matte with lipliner.
Since nude lips are an everyday lip color, it’s easy to assume that it isn’t a statement lip, but it depends on how you wear it.
Wearing it in the ways that I like to wear it, with a beautiful eyeshadow look, can really make your lips stand out and look bold.
I am obsessed with a bright glossy pink lip. Sometimes the pink lips can be really intimidating because of how bright it is.
My favorite way to wear pink lip products is with a brown lip liner underneath and the pink lippie in the center.

The brighter the pink lip the more vibrant and bold it appears. If you’ve been hesitant to try out a pink lip, try it out!
I was such a HUGE purple lipstick wearer when I first got into makeup. I loved how vibrant it was and how put together I looked and felt when wearing it.
I highly recommend swapping out one of your everyday lipsticks for a purple lipstick when you’re going out or on a date night. It’s a really fun and easy way to get out of your comfort zone and try something new.
If you’re not ready to jump immediately into a purple lip, try a burgundy lipstick first.
Chocolate brown lips are a natural progression from nude lips. The first time that I tried a chocolate brown look, I genuinely felt like it was created for me.
My favorite way to wear a chocolate brown lip is to line my entire lips with a dark brown lip liner and apply a lipstick on top.
I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and trying out a beautiful brown statement lip.
